Housewife in court for stabbing husband

A housewife charged with stabbing her husband because he was talking with his ex-girlfriend appeared for mention at the Waigani District Court yesterday.
Jayjay Leslie, from Waipakam in Kompiam in Enga, was charged with one count of causing grievous bodily harm on March 3.
Magistrate Cosmas Bidar extended her bail and adjourned the case to Oct 10 for sentencing.
Leslie pleaded guilty, saying her husband provoked her.
Police alleged that Leslie had an argument with Loo after he received a phone call from a woman whom Loo claimed to be his aunt from Wabag at around 2am on March 3 at ATS Malolo Estate in Port Moresby.
