Hula cricket association to receive equipment, officials

THE Hula Lighthouse Cricket Association along the Rigo Coast, Central, received equipment for tomorrow’s grand finals which will be controlled by Cricket Papua New Guinea (CPNG) match officials. Association president Kala Kanau told The National that CPNG would provide scoresheets, balls, and umpires Lakani Oala and Alu Kapa for the finals at the Raukele Oval.
“Along with CPNG, we would like to thank sponsors Dean Ani and Gamoga Lawyers for their support all season,” he said.
“Hula is known for producing some of the best cricketers such as the late Kila Alewa, late Pala Ura and late Vavine Pala.
“We also have Jason Kila and Tony Ura who are preparing with the Barramundis for their maiden T20 World Cup next year.
