Hunters, company extend deal

THE SP Hunters say Air Niugini will again be their airline partner for at least three more years from 2023.
Air Niugini has been supporting the Hunters since 2014 and the club is delighted to extend that partnership through to 2025, following a cease in operations during the Coronavirus period.
With Air Niugini now back to full operation as of earlier this year, the airline will continue its support of the Hunters as they compete in the 2023 Hostplus Cup season.
Air Niugini commercial general manager Paul Abbot and Hunters commercial manager
Alan Moramoro finalised the partnership earlier this week.
Moramoro said he was grateful to see the partnership continue.
“We are thankful for Air Niugini’s ongoing support and look forward to working alongside the airline again from 2023,” he said.
“Given the challenges associated with travelling between Papua New Guinea and Queensland in light of the pandemic, Air Niugini’s support is invaluable to the Hunters as they maintain their place in the Hostplus Cup.”
Abbot said he was looking forward to working alongside the Hunters again.
“Air Niugini is pleased to renew its long-standing partnership with the Hunters,” he said.
“After two years of disruption due to the pandemic, it’s great to be back flying and supporting the team again.
“We are looking forward to a great season and many more to come.”
