Hunters have Da Edge

THE Hunters yesterday announced a major sponsorship deal with retailer Super Value Store and its Da Edge sports store.
The SVS and Da Edge logos will appear on the sleeves of the SP Hunters’ home and away strips, training gear and polos, and supporters gear sold in Australia and Papua New Guinea.
The three-year deal allows SVS and Da Edge exclusive rights to sell Hunters supporters merchandise in PNG.
PNG Rugby Football League and Hunters CEO Brad Tassell made the announcement in a prepared statement yesterday.
He thanked group general manager Lalani Hanafi and the SVS Group for their support.
“Da Edge is our official sports store for all our team sporting supplies and they are also outfitting all of the players and staff with their playing, training and off-field footwear,” Tassell said.
Hanafi said the sponsorship was a key one for the group. They were impressed with the Hunters professionalism and for giving opportunities to talented players.
“We as a business want to be a part of the club’s philosophy and future. We are pleased to be a major sponsor of the SP Hunters and will have merchandise in stores shortly,” Hanafi said.
