THE SP Hunters have secured Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler (KPMG) PNG as a partner for the upcoming Hostplus Cup season.
The acquisition of a globally-recognised sponsor like KPMG PNG is the latest example of the commitment shown by businesses in Papua New Guinea to support the growth of rugby league in the country.
It is also an example of the Hunters’ continued development as a rugby league club.
The support offered by sponsors like KPMG — an international accounting firm — is invaluable particularly during the Coronavirus pandemic, and Hunters commercial manager Alan Moramoro is delighted about the partnership.
“We are pleased to announce another new partner for the 2022 season, KPMG PNG,” Moramoro said.
“This new partnership displays the confidence in the new structures we have in place at the Hunters, and our commitment to grow this partnership together.”
KPMG PNG managing partner Zanie Theron echoed similar sentiments.
“The Hunters are an inspiration to any of us who chase our dreams, and an embodiment of determination and commitment,” he said.
“That resonates with a firm such as KPMG.”
“We are proud to partner the Hunters in 2022.”
