THE Ialibu Secondary High School in Southern Highlands will resume classes this week, according to district administrator Samson Wereh.
He said the two principals, whose appointments by the provincial education board caused the row which resulted in the death of a student, had been suspended.
One of the three deputies will act as a caretaker principal.
“Due to the dormitories being burnt down, the school will operate as a day-school. Transportation will be provided for students,” Wereh said.
“We are also working with the school administration who are putting together information on the number of students and where they reside so that transportation for pick-up and drop-off can be arranged as soon as possible.”
The school dormitories were burnt down and one student was killed last month in a dispute over the appointment of the principal.
