THE Institution of Engineers PNG (IEPNG) seems to have lost its way.
I have seen a lot of its graduates looking for jobs like the rest of us.
I believe the IEPNG has hundreds of members like me who pay annual membership fees.
How is the money collected utilised?
The IEPNG needs to address the following issues immediately:
* Set guidelines and make it mandatory for engineering graduates to be fed into the technical industry.
* Make it compulsory for companies to take in graduates, set a minimum wage for engineers that is on par with other countries; and
* Affiliate with external professional organisations.
