ILG ignored land boundaries

Letters

CAN the office responsible for registering incorporated land groups (ILG) at the Department of Lands and Physical Planning confirm if the ILG registered by Jery Geno for the Pore, Mawae, Owasupu and Konoma clans still exist.
The clans are four tribes of the Kira LLG in Northern.
The registration was supposed to facilitate the Red+ project under Forestry.
There were gross misapplication of land boundaries and properties listed for subdivision.
This conflicted with customary land boundaries and properties owned by different clans within the tribes.
Mediation and other legal processes were not followed prior to creating the carbon trade organisation as well.
The individual had used evasive and ignorance tactics to avoid requests for proper mediation and consultations.
Their carbon trade plan covers 380,000 hectares which I am convinced the Governor Garry Juffa had mentioned was selling carbon credits illegally.
Can the governor verify as well?
