GIROEA Roosters and Gomore Eagles may get the chop when the Rigo Rugby League  executives meet this weekend.

Rigo RL president Freddie Nanai Silona said ill discipline and rowdy behaviour was the reason both side’s future were in doubt.

He said the whole purpose of reviving the league was to occupy unemployed youths and students in Kwikila and surrounding communities in sports and keep them away from drugs and illegal activities.

The executives were impressed with the cooperation from that other clubs to abide by the laws and spirit of the game.

“We are affiliated members of PNG Rugby Football League and want to play it right for the future of competition and its players.”
