MORE than 6,000 people in the Nondugl local level government of Jiwaka’s North Waghi have been benefiting from the International Organisation for Migration (IMO) development programme since 2015, according to a women representative.
Nondugl community church leader and women representative Rose Siwi said IMO had provided projects that helped improve the lives of people.
“IMO helped communities with the agricultural equipment and seedlings, provided personal health and disaster risk management training and provided safer or clean drinking water supply among other useful projects,” she said.
Siwi said this during the United States Agency for International Development 60th anniversary celebration in Port Moresby last week.
