Improved market set to open

LOCAL fishermen from Milne Bay will benefit a lot when the K33 million market and fisheries facilities in Alotau town is opened this month.
The Alotau Town Market and Fisheries Facility boasts extra amenities such as kiosks, bank agency and ATM facility, amphitheater, aquarium and First Aid post.
The project was made possible through a partnership between PNG and Japanese governments.
According to the National Fisheries Authority, the redevelopment of the market project had similarly taken place in eight other centres around the country.
