A GROUP of 54 cocoa farmers in East New Britain has completed training on growing and managing cocoa for maximum production at the K2.8 million facility at Tokiala plantation.

The Tokiala plantation is owned by the local agri-business company NGIP Agmark Group of Companies.

They came from the three local level governments of Inland Baining, Reimber-ivuan and Central Gazelle.

During the graduation ceremony last Friday Graham McNelly of NGIP told the participants that the company was keen to share its knowledge on cocoa farming with them to restore the production of cocoa in ENB.
