Include Lae to Popondetta in schedule, APNG

I read with great interest about the new flight sche­dules out of Lae as advertised in The National (May 30) and as a frequent traveller between Lae and Popondetta, I call on Airlines PNG to consider the Lae to Popondetta route.
I propose the flights from Lae to Popondetta should be scheduled twice a week – Wednesdays and Sundays.
The current trend of tra­vel by air from Lae to Popondetta is through Port Moresby which is very expensive during this hard economic time.
The only weekly passenger boat service between Lae and Popondetta now costs K205 per passenger with very poor services.
I also saw in the advertisement that the fare from Port Moresby to Popondetta is K169 and I believed the fare from Lae to Popondetta should be lower.
