NAMBAWAN Super Limited chief executive officer Garry Tunstall says initiatives being launched were to make services more affordable to its members.

NSL during the year had announced initiatives with State-owned entities and companies.

For example, Air Niugini will provide members a 15 per cent discount, Travel Air Ltd (Mangi Lo Ples) a 30 per cent discount, an arrangement to have NSL branches operating from post offices where it is currently not located, and bmobile-Vodafone offering members to buy a smartphone at a 50 per cent discount (K99).

“The main purpose is to make sure our members obtain benefits,” Tunstall said.

“As a superannuation company, we are always in the business of making sure that our members are looked after financially.

“We are actually trying to create wealth for their future.

“This is just another way that we can provide discount services through the ID discount card that will provide the additional benefits to our members.”

Nambawan Super members with  members of the Retirement Savings Account and choice super, are entitled to discounts on a wide range of products and services from PNG businesses upon producing their ID cards or a copy of their statement.
