Institute appoints six new council members

SIX new members of the National Agriculture Research Institute (Nari) council have been sworn into office recently.
Nari acting director general Warea Orapa said the institute had gone without the governing council to manage the affairs of Nari for the last nine months.
Orapa said a lot of things that Nari was trying to engage in were not done without a council.
He said with the appointment of the council, the institution would operate smoothly.
The swearing-in was done by Morobe’s senior magistrate Pious Tapil.
