Education

TWO schools in the Kokopo-Vunamami urban local level government (KVULLG) in East New Britain received Government support recently.
The two schools are Gunanba Primary School and Vunamami Technical Vocational Education Training centre.
Kokopo city mayor Isidor Bonga said the KVULLG under its local level government support grant, supported the two schools with K5,000.
Gunanba Primary School received K3,000 for stationery supplies while the Vunamami Vocational Education Training centre was given K2,000 to build their roadside market.
“We want our children to become future leaders and also, they must get the best education they deserve in order for them to achieve their goals,” Bonga said.
He urged students to work hard, focus and put God first in everything.
Bonga said KVULLG would support more roadside markets.
He encouraged the students to focus on their studies and learn to accept daily challenges as it would help them to be successful in life.
