IPA selling business licensing booklet for K200

The National Business

Investment Promotion Authority’s (IPA) business licensing information service booklet launched in November is now on sale for K200 a copy.
According to IPA, the booklet can be purchased at its office at Konedobu, Port Moresby.
The business licensing information service contains a one-stop-shop business licensing information.
It covers various legislative requirements of doing business in the country, and necessary processes or guidelines to obtain licences from statutory licence issuing agencies.
The booklet contains the following information:

  • contact details of officers, division and agencies which administer each licence;
  • licence application forms where possible;
  • applicable legislations and provisions;
  • details of licences, fees, details of renewals and transfers;
  • type of business the licence may apply to; and
  • other necessary information required to accompany application for business licence.

The business licensing information service booklet provides a one-stop shop business licensing information and helps one to understand various legislative requirements for compliance purposes.
