AN ISRAELI firm, MA Investment, will bring its technology to help boost business opportunities, agriculture and education in the country.

MA Investment and the PNG Cultural Resources Incorporation (PNGCRI) signed the agreement in Port Moresby on Tuesday.

PNGCRI chairman Sane Gao said this was a long term project and with the signing of the memorandum of understanding, a way could be found so the Israeli technology can help Papua New Guineans.

He said 97% of the land was still owned by the people and what could be taken out of the land could help everyone prosper.

“In this way, we can provide alternatives to support our mandated leaders,” he said.

Gao has appealed to the Isreal company to prepare the members of PNGCRI to become helpful to work in partnership with the organisation to promote trade in PNG.

According to MA Investment owner Anat Maler, the company specialises in cooperating between companies and people in need to ensure that right companies were brought in to help.

She said to begin the programme, they would start with education in the health sector and that was to educate and train doctors by bringing in experts or by sending doctors to Israel for training.

“The second sector we will look at is agriculture where we will help you improve it and make it better and more professional,” she said.
