A MAN charged with stealing more than K125,000 from his employer had his case struck out last Friday by a Committal Court in Port Moresby because of a lack of evidence.
Moses Haron, 29, of Sakanofa village, Bena district, Eastern Highlands, was accused of stealing K125,155.87 from his employer, Waigani Auto Gas Ltd.
Magistrate Cosmas Bidar ordered the charge against the defendant be struck out and bail money be refunded to the defendant.
Bidar said the charge laid against the defendant was clearly an abuse of process as there was no evidence to substantiate the allegations.
