KAGUA Erave FC are learning and getting stronger with each game, says coach Steven Mune, picture.
Heading into tomorrow’s match against Aporro Mai FC at the National Sports Institute in Goroka, Mune said each game in the Highlands Conference was a learning experience and he was pleased his side were playing well and trying to maintain a standard that would serve them well later in the season.
“We’re learning to be the best team in our conference and to do that we are competing and setting a high standard in every game,” Mune said.
“We’re learning from the strong teams and the weaker sides. We’re not taking things for granted,” he said of his conference-leading side.
“Mune said his side were treating their round three clash against Aporro as the game that would decide the conference leader and set the tone for the rest of the games in the region.
“Last week we got a big win against the Enga Laima scoring six goals in the first half and five in the second half. That result was from the hard work we put in during the pre-season. We finished well and did not slow down.”
