Kamangawi Lake needs help

Letters

KAMANGAWI Lake is a good offshore home for Kandingei village, Gawi local level government, Wosera Gawi district, East Sepik.
The lake is the mother of every living creature, including human beings.
It feeds living creatures, accommodates living creatures.
Kamangawi Lake feeds living creatures, including human beings, every second.
Foreigners love to visit Kamangawi Lake.
People catch fish in the lake for food and smoke the rest for sale at markets in East Sepik like Maprik, Pagwi, Kunsikini.
Every Thursday and Saturday, mothers and sisters go to Wenger market in the Sepik Plain to barter fish for sago, vegetables and fruits.
The cash that we generate from selling fish we spend on goods and services and the GST paid goes to the Internal Revenue Commission.
IRC manages the funds and allocates them to each province for development purposes.
But now Kamangawi Lake is building up with sediment.
Can the responsible authority to something? Can the Government do something?
