Kameswa get new jerseys to compete in Mendi league

A MENDI Rugby League club has received a timely boost ahead of the competition this season.
Kameswa United Rugby Football Club has received a set of new jerseys presented by Mt. Lemina Lodge.
Managing director Bartholomew Yacop said he was committed to nurturing youths in the area through sports.
“Supporting our youth goes beyond fostering talent on the field,” Yacop said.
“It’s about cultivating leaders, fostering resilience, and creating opportunities for a brighter future.
“By investing locally in teams like Kameswa United, we’re not only nurturing athletic talent but also instilling values that resonate far beyond the realm of sports.
“I do understand the transformative power of sports in guiding young lives towards positive trajectories.
“Our aim is clear, reduce law and order issues, build confidence among outside investors, and pave the way for sustainable growth and development in Mendi,” he said about the club.
