Kids edge Manipi by point

 Five-Mile Hilltop Black Kids beat the TK2 Manipi with a field goal 1-0 in the NCD Eastern Highlands Baaz Cup competition at Unagi Oval on Sunday.

Despite a clean and tactical first half of football, neither team could breach the other’s defence to score.

Returning into the second half Black Kids’ halfback John Jerry registered his the game’s only point with a field goal. 

The Manipi Brothers from the Six-Mile suburb of Port Moresby North East electorate tried all their best and came close to the Kids’ try line but were unable to score.
