Kikori people need services

Letters

I AM disappointed with the Kikori development authority.
It is almost four years now and the national general election is just a year ahead.
We, the people of Kikori, are still waiting for our district development authority to deliver much-needed services such as health, roads and education to our people.
Many are dying from lack of proper health services.
There are no proper roads.
The people’s means of transportation is river and sea transport.
Our children are in no way near the current status of the education system.
I am calling on the Kikori development authority and its chairman to come out and address these issues now.
The people of Kikori don’t really need Ihu special economic zone.
On one occasion, I was wounded and was taken to Ihu health centre and was treated outside.
Why is the authority ignoring the small people’s basic needs?
Those who wish to contest in the electorate should provide good plans and policies that will benefit people
To the Kikori MP, we didn’t vote you only to get a portfolio so you could forget us.
