Killers must face full brunt of our law

AS the governor of our city, I condemn this despicable and heinous crime committed in our city in the killing of one of our residents and manager of a big retail outlet.
All killings are unacceptable but this one, in particular, is totally unacceptable and I condemn it in the strongest terms.
Assassination or targeted killing is not part of our traditional or contemporary culture.
It should never be allowed to become part of our culture and I call on all our residents to cooperate with the police if they have any information about the killing.
The perpetrators of this heinous crime must be arrested and brought to trial so we can put an end to this practice before it takes roots in our country.
I also call on those perpetrators and those intend on such practice to take their evil culture and practice elsewhere.
It has no place in our city and our nation.
I extend the deepest sympathy of our residents to the family of the deceased.
