BP Knights kept their finals hopes alive in the Hohola off-season rugby league competition with a 2-0 win over 4-Mile Cats at Ipi Park on Sunday.
In a dour affair where neither side could muster enough offensive momentum to score tries, the game was decided by a penalty goal.
The Knights are in eighth place on 14 points but need to win this weekend to ensure their finals berth.
On their heels are Raiders Namona, Bus Stop Spartans and BP Mix Mates.
At the top of the standings Texas Melona (18 points), Toks Mix Dogs (17) and Mutrus Brothers (16) can all claim the minor premiership after this weekend while the 25 Dragons are in fourth on 15 points.
