GORDON Secondary got off to a bad start in the second round games on Wednesday in the schools soccer clash against Badihagwa, losing 1-0 at home.The reigning champions had all their star players on call but failed to find the net.  Badihagwa, on the other hand, were able to establish and hold the lead thanks to a brilliant set play. In other games, Port Morseby International School punished last year’s runner-up Gerehu 4-1, Pomnaths beat Tokarara 1-0, Della Salle thrashed Paradise High 5-0 and Jubilee forfeited so Kilakila earned a point.The girl’s matches saw POMIS 1 Gerehu 1, Tokarara 4 Pomnaths 0, Kokofarian 3 Badihagwa 1. The competition took a break of over a month because the national elections and will run until the finals in September.
