Lae Metro dominate dart meet

The national dart club championship staged in Port Moresby over the independence anniversary weekend ended on Monday, with Morobe claiming honours in the men’s singles and doubles.
Lae’s Metro Dart Club claimed the men’s doubles on Saturday while Manus’ Coco Dart Association won the women’s doubles.
Alotau won the mixed doubles.
The singles, which started on Sunday, saw Metro Dart Club claim the men’s singles while Port Moresby’s Yala Darts Association won the women’s singles.
Manus, Morobe, West New Britain, Milne Bay, Central and the National Capital District competed in the tournament.
