Lagatois side named for women’s tournament

 THE Port Moresby Suburban Women’s Rugby Football League has named a 20-memeber Lagatois representative side for the Papua New Guinea Women’s Rugby League championships. 

Selections were made after the recent suburban nines competition at Ipi Park, Hohola.

Lagatois: Daisy John, Marie Siari, Jenny Tutu, Elizabeth Piyala, Pamela Taul, Melany Sony, Ega Kere, Cathy Talin, Florence Kama, Bridgette Antipas, Angela Parao, Vanessa Palme, Irene Torepa, Caroline Peng, Melissa Panda, Lennisa Torepa, Joslyn Kaiyo, Rutha Omenfa, Ellyn Malofa, Tale Bagita.

The national women’s championship is slated from December 2-8 in Lae. All players named are to contact Yaurupa on 71654359 for further information on training schedules and a proposed camp.
