Landowner donates land to build school

Joel Yanduk values education so much that he gave a piece of his land to build the Riverside Elementary School.
Yanduk said education was a tool for development and every child had a right to it.
Speaking at the school’s fourth graduation, the customary landowner said: “I stand here today as a proud landowner to witness the
fourth graduation of the Riverside Elementary School.
“I allocated the land for the establishment of the school and the government should allocate financial assistance for the construction of
additional classrooms and teachers houses at the school.”
Yanduk said he would allocate more land for expansion of the school and a sports field and a proper market for the people living in the area.
He said he had discussed with Harmony Gold to provide assistance to the school.
