Last-placed Gulf West shock Warriors in PRL

GULF West shocked Dobo Warriors 8-4 in round 15 of the Port Moresby Rugby League A-grade division at the National Football Stadium over the weekend.
West, sitting at the bottom of the 14-team competition, are now on six points with the Warriors slipping to seventh.
The Gulf side have nothing to lose and have caused upsets in the competition.
Kone Storms sneaked into the top-eight with an 8-4 upset win over Tarangau.
After round 15, Royals still sit on the top with 27 points followed by Brothers (20), Tarangau (18), Paga Panthers (18), Hohola Flies (17), Kone Tigers (17), Dobo Warriors (17) and Kone Storms (15) to round out the top-eight. The bottom teams are Hawks (13), Defence (11), Butterflies (11), Magani (9), Souths (9) and West (6).
With 10 rounds remaining, the top-eight berths are still up for grabs, and pacesetter Royals and Brothers are both determined to bag the minor premiership.
Heading into the business end of the season, teams are expected to step up their discipline in a bid to make the playoffs.
