Law and order summit gets K10,000 boost

Bank South Pacific (BSP) has provided a sponsorship of K10,000 to support the annual National Law and Order Summit that will be held in Lae next month.
The summit will be held at Lae International Hotel from Aug 8-10.
It has the theme ‘Building safer communities through crime prevention partnerships’ and aims to collect views and opinions and share experiences from the public and private sectors, churches, non-government organisations and development partners for practical partnership of crime prevention actions.
BSP deputy general manager Kili Tambua, when presenting the money, said BSP saw the forum as an opportunity for valuable sharing of ideas and information that would contribute to development of the country.
“BSP, as the bronze-level sponsor, is pleased to continue its relationship to serve the community,” he said.
