Laws important for societies

SOCIETIES are made up of laws.
I am not a law student to give a clear and perfect definition of law, but I believe laws are rules that are put in place for people to follow in order to maintain order and peace.
According to a quote from Mahatma Gandhi: “when a law is unjust, it is only right to disobey”.
He is correct by meaning, not all laws are compliable.
There may be some that are prejudicial.
Imagine how life will be if all citizens act according to the law?
