A TOTAL of 20 young Australian and Papua New Guinea leaders are full of praise for the East Sepik people for hosting them for the one week research program.
The Australian-based foreign policy research centre, the Lowy Institute hosted these young leaders in Wewak last week for The 2019 Australia-PNG Emerging Leaders Dialogue.
“This has been one of our most successful dialogues ever,” Lowy Institute’s Aus-PNG network project director Shane McLeod said.
“We’ve had a great conversation about the PNG-Australia relationship, and done it by showcasing one of PNG’s go-ahead provinces.
“We sincerely appreciate the hospitality that East Sepik has shown us last week.”
McLeod said conversations like this are the future of strengthening the relationship between the two countrie.
