League focuses on player regisration, compliance

FOLLOWING its registration to the PNG Rugby Football League (PNGRFL), Mt Wilhelm Rugby League has turned its focus to player registration and compliance under the game’s restructured policies.
Mt Wilhelm league president Michael Koima told The National that the objective now was to have all of its players and teams registered.
“We’ve completed registration with the PNGRFL so now we’re moving with the registration and compliance process where we want to make sure we tick the boxes with our teams and their requirements,” he said.
“After handing over credentials to the PNGRFL for our registration, we’re now back to our local clubs and getting them up to speed with what is required of them.
“We would like to have an accurate database of players and their teams so this would be an ongoing process, but we are sure that we can establish something.”
