Legend is NWTL brand envoy

PNG Nambawan Trophy Ltd has announced Petero Civoniceva, one of Australia’s most respected and celebrated rugby league legends, as its new brand ambassador for 2013.
Civoniceva, who is widely regarded as one of the best forwards to have played the game, retired this year.
A leading name in the sports industry, with a large fan base in Papua New Guinea, Civoniceva will join forces with NWTL next year to market its products and services Nationwide.   
“I am excited and honoured to be an ambassador for NWTL,” he said.
“NWTL prides itself on its products and quality service as well as strongly contributing to the community.
“With this in mind, I am looking forward to linking with PNG’S premier retail brand.
“I look forward to seeing you at NWTL.”
Civoniceva will also get involve in charity work with PNG Namba wan Trophy Ltd and its subsidiary companies to bring more focus to community-based projects, where they hope other companies will also adopt this strategy and take on a project in their community around PNG.
“Petero is largely considered one of Australia’s best known and respected rugby league stars so we are proud and excited to announce our partnership with him and delighted that he will be promoting our brands in Papua New Guinea,” Jim Gui, group general manager of PNG NWTL, said.
