Let Pruaitch speak

Letters

THE Opposition camp has so many spokespersons showing insubordination to the official Opposition leader Patrick Pruaitch.
This went as far as nominating James Marape as alternative Prime Minister, undermining Pruaitch who has been Opposition leader all along.
All public statements representing the views of the Opposition should be vetted by the Opposition leader himself before disseminating to the press and media.
Currently,we have Bryan Kramer doing his own Facebook attacks on the Prime Minister Peter O’Neill, Kerenga Kua urging the Parliament speaker to speed up the process of the vote of no-confidence motion, Sir Mekere Morauta firing his guns on PM on the UBS loan and PNG Sustainable Development Program funds, James Marape is hell bent on becoming a Prime Minister, Ian Ling-Stuckey urging O’Neill to relinquish the PNC Party leadership and many more. The public will support an Opposition as an alternative Government who can collectively spell out its policies on how
they can rescue PNG in the two remaining years of the current parliament.
They need to give us a list of things they will achieve in plain layman’s language, so that the rural mass population can understand why there need a change of government.
Let the Opposition Leader do the talking, on behalf of the Opposition camp.
Otherwise if this is not done, Pruaitch who is a true gentlemen should cross over to the Government because his leadership as Opposition leader has been undermined by these desperate MPs.
As the saying goes, never allow yourself to be so desperate that you end up settling for far less than what you deserve.
