Let us all repent on Aug 26

 AS Papua New Guinea commemorates Repentance Day on August 26, let all our citizens understand and appreciate that the Government has signed the Covenant with the God of Israel, who is the creator of the universe and all things.  I salute former Prime Minister Grand Chief Sir Michael Somare for taking a bold stand to sign the Covenant for and on behalf of the people of this beautiful nation. All political leaders, department and statutory heads as well as the ordinary citizens should pray and confess to God for their wrongdoings. PNG has travelled 40 years and it is time we totally turn to God.
