Let’s leave MPs alone

Letters

MOST people already have the wrong impression that their elected MPs have all the answers to their needs and wants.
Those who are conscious and aware of the laws and regulations surrounding the use of provincial and district funds mind their own business and do not look upon a MP as a financial source.
Most, however, queue or crowd at their MP’s provincial or district office every day with envelopes and folders of all kinds.
Their very actions add pressure and intimidate the MP, preventing him from performing his duties.
As a result of regular intimidation, and demands and requests from voters, I see that most Highlander MPs do not venture out into public places as market, shops or into church.
My appeal to fellow Highlanders: Let’s act in a decent manner and give piece of mind to our MPs to move about and do things.
