Life in rural areas still same since independence

THERE has been number of governments ruling our country for the past 40 years but there has not been any changes in the rural areas.

Mothers lose their lives from child birth because of poor road conditions, no proper facilities in rural hospital or health clinics and men, women and children loose their lives from sickness that can be cured but there is no medicine in health clinics.

All these past governments are focusing their attention to towns and cities and have forever neglected the rural aareas amd people.

PNG needs a rural government that can look deep into the rural areas and help develop these areas rather than towns and cities. People are moving into towns and cities because there are no government services in the rural areas.

No government from 1975 up to 2015 can boast about themselves saying “we are the government of the people”.

Billions of kina has been injected into preparation for the South Pacific Games which does not benefit the rural people and one can just imagine all these money spent, which can completely change the lives of the rural people.

Please give us a chance to live good and better lives like the towns and cities.

My appeal to all rural populations that come 2017 general election please elect people you think can bring services to our front door and not to get fat, overweight, greedy and rich.
