OHE service for uni students is pathetic

I WOULD like to quite frankly say that officers at OHE are not performing their duties well.

The delays in payment of allowances are causing frustrations among students attending the various tertiary institutions throughout the country.

This is mid-July and students at the University of Papua New Guinea are yet to receive their ticket reimbursements, pocket allowances and book allowances.

They even misplaced some of the queries submitted by students and unable to deliver their services more appropriately in a viable and efficient way.

Why are we being issued tickets in July instead of issuing in January and why are book allowances paid in July?

Do they expect students to dig deeper into their pockets even after paying K4000 to K5000 fees?

There should be an effective and reliable system in place so services intended to serve the students are delivered efficiently and without any delays.
