Link PNG to resume flights to Tabubil on Friday

LINK PNG, a subsidiary of Air Niugini, will be resuming flights to Tabubil, Western, commencing Friday.
According to the airline, the decision to resume flights was made following the latest state of emergency (SOE) directives and the relaxing of restrictions by the airport operator.
Flights to Tabubil were closed since April due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Link PNG, for now, will be operating weekly flights to Tabubil, every Friday and slowly increase once demand picks up
and restrictions are further relaxed,” the airline said in a statement.
“Passengers are advised to ensure they maintain clean hygiene habits and report to authorities if they suspect any coronavirus symptoms. “Link PNG will also continue to operate with strict health and safety measures in place including temperature testing of all passengers and providing face masks and hand sanitisers to ensure your air travel is safe.”
