SINIVIT local level government (LLG) manager Dominic Huranaka says its services were rated above other LLGs in East New Britain (ENB), due to its capacity to raise substantial internal revenue.
“With the delivery of an administration support vehicle, our services in the 18 wards will be greatly enhanced,” he said.
Huranaka urged LLG officers not to complain about the lack of vehicles to deliver services because “that will not get you anywhere”.
“Let us work together and strive to succeed with many programmes as possible,” Huranaka said at the delivery of a support vehicle for the LLG’s administration.
He said although the LLG had performed well last year, “we will do better this year with the support vehicle”.
He said the LLG raised from its internal revenue to a total of K131,000 and the Pomio Development Authority funded the balance of more than K61,000 for the new 10-seater Land Cruiser vehicle.
“The LLG had a need for a support vehicle because we have programs at the 18 wards,” he said.
Huranaka assured Pomio MP Elias Kapavore and Sinivit LLG president Boniface Gerep that programmes would be improved and delivered.
