THE Papua New Guinea National Rugby League semi-professional Digicel Cup round 12 local derby between Port Moresby Vipers and Gulf Isapea will be played at the Sir Hubert Murray Stadium.
This was confirmed by Port Moresby Rugby League board senior deputy chairman Wari Varage at their National Football Stadium office yesterday.  Varage said he was given approval by Curtain Brothers director Peter Curtain to stage the semi-professional  competition there.
He said PRL board junior deputy chairman Manu Lofena was tasked with managing all the ticketing and passes. Varage said the ticket fees remain the same – K10 for adults and K5 for students or children. Tickets will be available at the gates.
“This is Vipers’ home game and they will benefit from dividends from the ticket sales together with PRL after all the service providers are settled. “We recognise Vipers and Isapea as the two city-based teams and both are locked on nine points apiece on the point’s ladder and wish them all the best in the game.”
Both sides, comprise mostly registered players from PRL, are determined to secure a spot in the top five with five games remaining.
