Locals invested in Aussie sports

PAPUA New Guineans are always engulfed with overseas sports, especially in the AFL, NRL, EPL etc.
This month saw the NRL grand final, which I am sure many of us across the country had had our eyes glued to the screen.
We are so passionate about games in Australia that at times, many of us have either become victims by losing our lives and properties over games, such as the State Of Origin.
For the avid punter, come November, once again, everyone looks forward to the race that stops the nation – The Melbourne Cup.
This is the pinnacle of Australian horse racing.
For the not so avid punters, this is the one day many people do place a bet on a horse.
