Madang here we come

It is surfing time of the year again in world-renowned surfing mecca Vanimo village, where this week selection trials started with the three West Coast villages of Vanimo, Waromo and Yako battling out for spots in the National titles to be held in Madang in March. Hundreds converged on the left-hander at Wepilih Beach to watch, with the selections ably-performed by three Californians who were on a mission to install toilet systems for the entire village.
