Maintenance almost done

MAINTENANCE work on the Sacred Heart Teachers College male dormitories in Port Moresby is almost complete, says the school’s principal.
Principal Theckla Aknonero said work started at the beginning of the month.
She said the 56-bed dormitories were being fixed by a construction company at a cost of K35,000.
Aknonero said the dormitories where built in 2010.
She said the work included painting, repairing windows, general maintenance and stalling clothes lines.
According to a notice on the notice board at the school, the lecturers resume duty today and classes will begin next Monday.
