Make use of Morobe projects, opportunities

THE people of Morobe should prepare to benefit from all major project developments taking place and are currently on the national and provincial government development plans.
Wafi-Golpu copper-gold project, Nadzab redevelopment, sealing of the four lane road from 9-Mile to Nadzab, mini township at Nadzab to cater for Wafi-Golpu employees under no fly-in-fly-out policies, and sealing of all Lae City roads just to name a few, are about to change the face of Morobe’s capital.
The people of Morobe should appreciate that and rise up and be seen as contributors of developments in their own province.
They should seriously be involved in small and medium enterprises instead of sitting down and complaining.
The people of Morobe do not really own businesses in and around Lae and that is sad.
The Morobe government’s business arm Morobe Resources Holdings Ltd should wake up from its slumber, take lead and play its role in organising, assisting our people to organise themselves and promote business activities in order to create employment opportunities for the people to tap into.
