Man arrested in killing over banana

WESTERN Highlands police have arrested a man suspected of killing another man over a ripe banana last Saturday, provincial commander Chief Inspector Jacob Kamiak said.
He said the police investigation team apprehended John Gimba, 36, from Koo village in the Dei district and charged him with murder. He said the suspect was in police custody waiting to go to court.
Kamiak said the incident happened on Saturday between 2pm and 3pm when an argument between two turned into a fight, resulting in the victims death.
