Man fined for stealing

A MAN who allegedly stole K120 from a woman trying to buy school uniforms for her children was ordered to pay a K200 court fine by the Mt Hagen District Court yesterday.
Solo Jack, 27, from Mendi, Southern Highlands, was told he faced five months jail in Baisu jail if he failed to pay the money.
Police alleged that around 1.45pm on Jan 13, Jack followed Jessinta Jeff into Shoe House Trading in Mt Hagen and stole K120.
Police alleged that Jack went out of the shop but was pursued by Jeff who called out for help to catch him. Jack was arrested and charged with stealing under the Summary Offence Amended Act.

  • Why steal when you can get a job during the long Christmas and New Year breaks to get enough money. People nowadays are very lazy, young men’s can look for faster ways to make money in this country like PNG. Why should you have kid’s when you can’t take care of them, that’s why family planning is implemented. Come on people stop acting like some uncivilized human beings.
